Prof. Rolf Krause

Prof. Rolf Krause is co-founder of Algo4U. He obtained his PhD in applied mathematics at FU Berlin and has more than 20 years experience in numerical methods and software development. In 2003, he was appointed Professor for Scientific Computing at the University of Bonn. Since 2009 he is the (founding) director of the Institute of Computational Science at USI. His numerous industrial and academic projects and collaborations form the expertise-backbone of Algo4U.

Alessio Quaglino, PhD

Alessio creates innovative methods for the discretization, optimization, and uncertainty quantification of complex (bio)mechanical systems. He lived in five countries, earning two degrees in engineering and a PhD in mathematics. He spent three years in Formula One, helping race engineers to get the best out of their cars. He is currently a PostDoc at the Institute of Computational Science in Lugano, Switzerland.
